ABOUT
We are a collective of concerned South Dakotans united in resisting policies that we believe harm our country and its democratic principles. Our primary concerns span a range of critical issues, including healthcare (with a particular focus on women’s health), transparency in government, climate change, and equal rights for all.
Our Mission
We are committed to protecting our values, our neighbors, and our future. To achieve this, we believe in the power of resistance rooted in the principles of inclusion, tolerance, and fairness. We stand firm in our conviction that peaceful, respectful action is the most powerful way to ensure that our voices are heard and our values upheld.
Our Approach
We take a thoughtful and determined approach to advocacy. By expressing our views in a clear, decisive and nonviolent manner, we aim to create constructive dialogue with our legislators and influence meaningful change. Together, we are working to build a better, more inclusive South Dakota for all.

Why We Resist
We believe that policies should serve people, not the interests of a few. The voices of our community must be heard, especially on issues that deeply affect our lives. Here are just a few of the reasons our members are committed to action:
-
"Why are there so many restrictions on women’s choices? These are decisions that should be between a woman, her family, and her doctor. Not the government’s!"
-
"It makes me so sad and angry that the social safety nets that have taken so long to put in place are being destroyed in a matter of weeks."
-
"I can’t believe we have to fight these fights all over again!"
-
"I’m glad I can come here and talk! My husband is tired of listening to me talk about this."

We welcome anyone who shares our values and is ready to take action for a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference.
